Striving to be a House Leader
We got told that we had a chance to be a House Leader, this was for anyone in year 8 to try.
Lots of people decided that they would try and so they did. Our application needed to include a current CV and formal letter about why you should get the job. We also had to complete an application letter which included a signature from another student.
Lots of people sent their applications in over 3 days and Ms Neill was hammered with emails.
There was always a buzz around the year ⅞ area about who could get the job, who was good enough and who was even confident enough to speak for the job.
After speeches on Thursday the 15th the buzz turned into talk and this was everywhere people couldn’t stop talking about who they think was going to win. Finally, the moment of truth arrived people were quiet and listening... Eva - Room 17
